Write a letter to the dean of your school, they can override the readmission board decision. Follow the chain of command and maybe you will get re-admitted. I know how you feel, I am exactly 3 days way from the same situation. I have not progressed before and have been readmitted, it sucks, but life goes on and sometimes we just gotta keep trying.

Depending on where you are at, some states in the US will let you take the boards for the LPN/LVN with letters of recommendation from your teachers saying your clinical work was satisfactory.
Don't give up. I just finished the mental health/OB/peds semester, and I HATED it. Everyone kept telling us it's the "easiest" semester, and I thought it was anything BUT easy. Every time I had someone tell me how "easy" it was I wanted to scream.
We each have what comes naturally to us. Give me a coding COPD/CHF/ESRF patient, and I'm in my comfort zone. Give me a 16 year old screaming with what looks like a freakin' alien crawling out of her body, and I want to run for the nearest exit. I don't have kids, so all the "remember when your kids were this age, they were doing x, y and z" kind of suggestions from coworkers didn't help either, since I have no kids.
Remember, it's not over until YOU stop trying.

Take your LPN, transfer schools, and be proud of what you've accomplished instead of dwelling on one setback. Nursing school is tough, one booboo is so little compared to the good stuff youve done. Good luck :) oh, and remember, chocolate will make you feel better.

Don't give up...nursing is just one Health care job... Go to your school... talk to your school administration and seek help.
Don;t give up your dream of getting a higher education.

I agree with the above posts. Don't give up. Just look at this as a bump in the road. Something similar happened to me in my third semester of ADN school as well and I was back in my classes the following semester, then graduated. If after everything you do in the matter of requests to the dean of the college goes and then if they don't re-admit you, you could consider on on-line BSN program. A BSN in the longrun will help you considerably. I think it would be best to take the licensing exam for your LPN in the meantime.
thank you all for ur advice. yeah i tried contacting my dean but she said "we cannot readmit you right now coz there is no vacant space for the next sem in OB" also i thought about LPN but BON of texas said i cannot challenge LPN exam. So was thinking abt medical assistant job.

You are not a "failed nursing student". As you know, nursing is a difficult major, and it is not for everyone. I would not do the LPN course, because many hospitals are phasing out LPNs, especially in NY. The only LPN jobs I see posted are for nursing homes or clinics. There is a lot you can major in healthcare. Before I became a nurse, I considered Physical Therapy. There is a lot to do in that field, the money is good, and you do not have to work nights. Check it out. lol

good luck. i remember looking at what to do because I was positive i'd be failing out of my 3rd or 4th semester. What ya gotta look out for is other schools not accepting you because you failed out of whatever school. I'm not trying to tell you to walk away completely or anything; nobody can take away your dreams. But best of luck to you. I'm sure that all of us have thought at points that we were going to fail.
Best of luck to you.

Aren't you allowed to fail a class at least ONCE in an ADN program? I don't understand why you can't just repeat the course..
I have another suggestion, why not take the LPN exam in another state? Just call around and ask if you could do this. I don't think they all have the same exact rules. Being an LPN would officially get you into the nursing field. Then you could apply for reciprocity. It might work.
