sorry to hear this, I passed on 3rd attempt. Have you thought about using Suzanne's programme? if not may be worth trying and you already have Saunders book

Good luck and hang in there

what is suzanne's program? can u tell me about it? is that what helped u pass?

First of all, let me say that I'm sorry you've had such a struggle passing NCLEX. Hang in there. Secondly, it sounds like you could benefit from an interactive review course, in which there is an instructor who guides/facilitates the course. Do you have any idea of the subjects you didn't pass? What types of questions are your most difficult? Knowing and understanding your own thought processes and learning styles can help you. Critical thinking ability is key to the NCLEX....perhaps there is a program in one of the hospitals or nursins schools nearby, etc. that can help you in that area. Hang in there.

Suzanne's programme can be found on the main NCLEX page under new revised tip and you follow instructions on that thread.

Hope this helps and if you read the forum you will see a few threads regarding people passing using her plan. All that she asks is you respect her wishes and not discuss her plan with anyone else

I feel your pain on the failing the NCLEX. I myself failed the first time and as we speak am sitting here waiting for my results to post for my second test. This time I went to the book store and bought the NCLEX book that is written by Pearson Vue. It comes with an interactive CD that gives you a CAT test just like the NCLEX. I found it very helpful! You might want to try that! I am sorry to hear of your disappointing news! But don't give up and keep your head up high!

i don't know if i'm blind or what or just not sure were to look for here program.:smackingf you said look under revised tip? sorry for being a pain, but i'm having difficulties finding it!

The third edition will be fine the new does not come out till Oct.

beanieweenie,

I know how you feel. You are not alone! I too graduated amost a year ago and thought I would be working by now! I'm studying now for my 4th time. The struggle of staying motivated is tough. I too am working and studying. I can't wait to put away all the NCLEX materials. Just remember that you have what it takes to be a nurse...you do! Passing this test is just a little hump you have to get over. Not passing the NCLEX is NOT a predictor for how you care for your patients. Your probably an excellent nurse with a great passion for helping others! Chin up, our time will come!;)
