Those are the things that I didn't want to think about. :chuckle

The thought *HAS* occurred to me - but I'd be more afraid of what I would see on the carpet, walls, floors, grout, curtains etc....

How many sets of scrubs/uniforms did everyone get to make it through school? Im curious as I know I will have at leat two, but thinking maybe even like 4-5 sets as I don't do laundry every day.....

It took me 4-5 sets, plus two-three aprons (we had to wear these hideous bib-like things over our white scrubs). I didn't get anything too gross on me, got a smear of blood on one set from a lady wiping her freshly pricked finger across my leg to clean the blood off it (considerate of her, wouldn't you say?). I did have one set fall victim to a leaky pen.

I'd like to buy 3 sets. Our uniforms are $73. So, it's not like going out and buying 5 new sets of scrubs, or I would have at least 5.

I can't imagine them charging you that much for your uniforms! That is insane! I went to a local uiform store (only one around) and they offer a discount on needed supplies! I got new shoes for 25.00 on clearance and one top for like 10.00. I hated the pants and didnt buy,(but they were only like 15.00) looking for a better option but probably having to suck it up and deal with the other ones! Ugghhh!!

Our uniforms have a custom embroidered logo on the scrub top and lab coat. I'm going to find out if we "have" to use those, or just use the same colors. If we don't "have" to, then I'll buy a couple of uniforms, and 3 or 4 regular scrub sets.

Seems like it would be cheaper to use a patch that could be placed on a certain uniform - then at least the patch could be removed and the uniform worn later! AND they wouldnt be 73 darn dollars!!!! Hooey! Although to be honest - once you are out of school it will be a LONG time before you ever want to wear those colors again, much less those same uniforms - I think I burned mine actually LOL

No doubt! Also, patches are much easier to keep for 'souvenirs' than old nasty scrubs. :chuckle
