I'm meant to be writing mine as well, handing it in on Monday...oooh, procrastination, how good I am at it! Wrote 850 out of 1800 and keep refreshing the word count, to no avail, the number stays the same...:banghead: cleaned the kitchen drawers though...

So... you're not alone. :typing:yawn:

Hi. There should be a wealth of info available. You could consider the use of Aricept etc, person centred care (Bradford Uni have alot of info), family support, Admiral nurses, assessment techniques, respite care, day care support, crossroads, lack of practical support, social stigma, role of CPN. Good luck, Heather :wink2:

Almost done, got to be at the Uni for 09.30 tomorrow...how ridiculous. Just hope I pass because it would be very useful for a sabbatical I hope to do this summer.

i'm glad i'm not the only one stressing about essay writing! i have a 3'000 word essay to do on decision making and the trouble i have is deciding on a decision i've made and how i approached and how it ended etc. well i'm holiday this week and it's due friday. best crack on! shall i make that my decision...............the fact that i'll decided to start it lol!!:clown: :typing

geminijo - I expect you decided on your course of action using Lindblom's Theory of Disjointed Incrementalism (aka - 'muddling through) LOL. This is a genuine Decision Making theory - I know this 'cause I have degree in Decision Making. Don't forget that most decisions are made by 'satisficing' - that is taking account of various solutions and applying the one which appears to have the best 'fit'. Humans are not generally capable of considering *every* possible course of action/outcome so will reduce (subconsciously) the variables and thus, 'satisfice'.
