El Centro Spring 2015

Hi everyone, I'm a little concerned about this: I want to take the hprs 1202 this May through summer 2. The course is 100% online. Do we still need to do a volunteer work like they said, or not, since it's online? And it doesn't show on econnect if other out side classes will be held. Thanks guys for your input!

Tomorrow, April 22! Sometimes they open registration before 8 am, so be ready. If not, keep checking back, since people will drop. I got lucky and grabbed a spot that way last semester.

it is today! And it is already full! I got in at 530 am and there were only 4 spots left! SO glad I woke up becuase I did not plan to get up til 6 and by 6 they were all GONE!!! There was only one class for some reason! Maybe they will open another, if you didnt get in keep checking

I am so frustrated trying to register, anyone else experiencing a possible glitch on the DCCCD E-connect website? It is telling me I have no TSI status and 15 hrs of ESOL and to see an advisor. I am not sure why I would need 15 hrs of ESOL now when I've already finished all my english requirements. I just want to sign up for my classes. Ok rant over lol

yes, it did that to me also. I just kept trying and after about 5 tries it let me. finally!

Hey everyone! I'm alex :) I'm applying for ECC spring '15 also! I've been reading about the cut offs and how for fall it was 27 points? How do we know this? I'll be applying with 32 points, not sure how competitive that is compared to everyone else

And about the HPRS courses, don't lose hope if you didn't get to register! That happened to me winterterm and I just kept checking everyday to look for open spots, waiting for someone to remove it from their schedule and I finally got a spot!

Thank you so much ashpang! That was helpful. Have you done the 1204? Do you still have your text book if you've taken the class? Unfortunarely, I didn't meet up on time to register for 1202, but I did picked up the 1204; which turned out fairly well for me and my schedule.

No problem :) I have done 1204. Its a great class and I really enjoyed taking it, especially if you don't have any previous healthcare background. You have to do 3 check offs with hand washing, vital signs and physical assessment. Keep checking for 1202, I didn't get in, but got lucky one day and saw someone had dropped and I was able to get in
