Drexel ACE Program (Fall 2021)

Hey, guys its a bit early but wanted to open a chat so we could all talk about the Fall 2021 ACE program (11 months) at Drexel University! Feel free to share stats, questions, concerns, and more!

Hey everyone! I know there are some people that are currently in this program for the Fall 2020 term and I just had a few questions! How do you like it so far? Does it feel too fast paced or you feel like you're learning at a fair pace? How are the professors? If you live off campus, how is the commute? Also if there is literally anything else you wanna say about the program go right ahead!

I found out today that I was put on the waitlist. So I guess in the next few weeks I'll get a definite answer.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Hey there, I just found out yesterday that I was also put on a waitlist due to a large applicant pool. Kinda bummed since Drexel is my top choice. ?

Hey! What were your stats? Also, do U have any classes you still needed to take?

Hi there! ? I would just need to take Nutrition.

AP1: B. AP2: A. CHEM: B+. MICRO: B. STATS: A. DEC PSYCH: B+

My Bachelor's GPA in Biology came up to a 2.781 ?.  So I was hoping they looked into my last 62 credits, which come out to 3.67. Did you get waitlisted as well?

although I can't give a definite answer because I'm not in admissions, it may just be because of your cumulative GPA... although we do have similar prereq. stats, the min. cumulative GPA required is a 3.0. I got accepted recently but my cumulative GPA is a 3.4.

Ahh OK thanks for your feedback!  I'm definitely going to see if I can send a follow-up email to someone in admissions and see what's up.

Does anyone know how long we have after our acceptance to put down a deposit?! I’m waiting on a few other schools first before I decide

I believe its 60 days after acceptance.

I know its super early, but is anyone getting their information into Drexel yet such as bloodwork/titers/immunizations etc?

did anyone get their financial aid yet? I got accepted last week but never received any financial aid yet.

I have file it again... I made the mistake of filing the 2020-2021 form instead of 2021-2022. Hopefully I’m not too late ?

I filed my FAFSA but was told by the financial aid office that since it’s a second bachelors degree I am only eligible for federal loans and no grants

Yeah I'm only eligible for like 10k in federal loans since I used quite a bit for my first bachelors, so I'll have to go private for most of it. is anyone else a bit anxious about going into 60k+ (plus living expenses) in debt from this program?? Definitely had trouble sleeping last night thinking about all that debt weighing over me..
