Did not get an email, I checked my discover Drexel account in the afternoon and the decision was there!

My application was complete on 10/19 and my overall GPA was 3.3 (My GPA over my last 60 credits was higher) I think they look at that too because that's what it says on the website- I also have experience working in a hospital as a patient care technician so I'm not sure if that helped my application at all, good luck!

Prereqs:

Psych- taking this Spring

Microbiology- in progress right now (On track to end with an A)

AP1- A

AP2- C

Nutrition- A

English- A

Chem- C

Statistics- B+

Was just accepted on 12/3! Submitted by application on 10/15, but all my transcripts weren't in until November-ish. Waiting to hear back from two other local programs. Best of luck to everyone!

It around 5 weeks for me. Maybe you will hear next week if u did yours on the 14th

Did anyone here use a differnt course to substitute the english requirement? Or did it have to specifically be an english course? Does anyone know if they accept writing intensive courses?

Hi!! I had applied back in April and don’t remember when I heard back ? I think it was within 1.5 months

As far as healthcare(ish) experience/volunteer hours that I do have, here they are: 

got emt-b certification but due to acl reconstruction had to push off employment and then ZERO local agencies were hiring new EMT's 

medical reserve corps member of my local county 

Other volunteer: americorps program tutoring in Memphis, TN for a whole school year (currently doing this) 

 

Undergrad degree is Biochemistry with a minor in math and I finished with exactly a 3.0 GPA and was also a student-athlete all 4 years 

A&P I: B 

A&P II: A- 

Stats: A- 

Chem: B 

Nutrition: Lecture A- and Lab A 

Micro: B-

English: not sure if the one I have counts 

Dev Psych: currently taking
