I need some help! I'm an RN student and at my school we have to take Dosage Calc. We have 4 test, they keep the 3 highest grades and we HAVE to make a 90% overall on 3 tests. I've taken 3 test so far and overall I have an 87% .
Back in January we had 1 class on Dosage and that's it, its the only class we will get for the entire semester. My teacher gives us these study guides and I work thru them and on the 1st try I get them all right, no problems at all. I have worked every study guide she has given us, I've worked problems from the book that they told us to buy, and I have tried to find problems online to work without any success. The problem is that our study guides are easy problems and very very few complicated ones that you have to think thru.
I would like to have practice problems for Infusion time/completion time and you know the harder ones lol

There are several practice books for dosage calculation that you can buy on Amazon.
There's also "Math Attack: Winning the Pharmacology Math Battle" by Karen Champion. It explains different methods of solving dosaging problems and how to figure out what the question is really asking.

It helped me so much in understanding how to do dimensional analysis problems! Once you undestand how to set them up, then its easy, just understanding it at first is daunting
