Done with Kaplan question trainer #7!

After 3.5 long hours I finally finished question trainer #7 with a 62%...a bit frustrating since I got 71% on #6. I test on Wednesday and don't think I'll ever feel fully prepared. Today is the last day I am putting much effort into studying because I work Monday and Tuesday (not to mention I have 2 kids and dh) Ah well, I think now I'll go over the rationales for all those questions that I missed and take a look at my notes on endocrine one last time ( I can never remember s/s Cushing's, Addisons etc)....It will feel SOOO good to get this test over with! Good luck to everyone else testing this week, we can do it! ~Jess

I took #7 this morning and got a 59%. The important part is that you understand the rationale for each questions (and hope you see the exact same questions on the real test!). I take my exam tomorrow...tonight I will be reviewing Addison's and Graves (why can't I remember those?). Anyway, good luck with your exam!

Hello to both of you. As it was said previously the most important thing is reading the rationales. I took boards Friday 13. Kaplan questions are extremely extremely simulare to NCLEX style questions. I would even venture to say the Kaplan questions are hard than the NCLEX. If you have not already, try to exhaust the Q-Bank to get in the habit of answering questions. READ ALL RATIONALES. Believe me, it really helps. You may not see that same exact question but it may be something in the rationale that will help you to anwser a future question. Read all the rationales. You want to understand why the right anwser is right but more importantly why the other choices are wrong. Good luck!;)

Thanks for your inspiration.

Just completed test 4 and 5 both extremely Hard!

I reveived a 63%- not bad, I felt like, if this is anything like the NCLEX I feel after I submit the test, I have no idea of whether I passed or failed, I consider a 60% passing with these tests. I feel good and confident because, of these tests and from what I am noticing on the allnurses site.

I got a 62 and 61% on trainers 6 and 7 and passed my nclex with 75 questions. You'll be fine!!!

Make sure you know how the blood sugar level is affected by addisons and cushings. I got a few of those questions on test. Good luck.

I thought Kaplan Trainer had pretty much the same questions focused on relatively few areas, often repeating itself, I didn't feel it was a comprehensive testing utility.

Hi! I too just finished Kaplan Trainer Test 7 and got a 62 also! I got a 62 on Trainer 6 too.

Kaplan wants a 65 percent, but I am ringing in at 62 percent. Well tomorrow is my NCLEX. I am cool with the 62- not rescheduling.

Wish me luck!!! :yeah:
