Does Anyone Know If Their ICU Is Hiring?

Hi Everyone,

I currently have one year of med-surg experience and I was wondering if your icu is hiring right now?

Thanks

PS: The location doesn't matter because I can travel almost anywhere.

Yes my ICU is hiring. I work in a neuro ICU in Detroit,Mi.

Birmingham al most hospitals are hiring in the icu

Many of the hospitals here in Washington DC are hiring, however many only seem to advertise and recruit experienced ICU nurses.

If you don't have ICU experience, you would probably need to be accepted into some kind of critical care internship program. They usually recruit new grads for those, but it's worth a try to see if you can get your foot into the door of one. If I were hiring, I'd rather have a nurse with a year under her belt than a new grad. My apologies if I misunderstood your post to mean you have med surg floor nursing experience when in fact you have some kind of generic ICU experience. The ICU's at my hospital are all specialized.
