Does it always mean that you are answering wrong whenever the same question is asked

Published

Hi

Could someone help me here. I took my NCLEX-PN on Friday. It cut off at the minimum of 85 questions. (of course I am sOoo nervous)...but what I really wanted to know is what does it mean when you are asked the same question over and over. I was asked about Autism 3 times. Does that mean I was answering it wrong, or were they trying to fool me to think I was not answering it right??

It could mean that it wanted you to answer a more difficulty question on the same subject. I had tons of OB questions on my boards. Or so it seemed. The grading system with the board is very complex. I would take a deep breath. BREATH...........I think waiting for the results is the hardest part of the whole test. Think positive.:icon_roll

Stay positive, don't second guess yourself, just take a breath, go for a walk and think happy thought of what you will do when you find out you have passed.

I have yet to take the exam, and my friends who have, freaked out before and after, and know what once they got there results, they felt silly for being so concerned!

Do the happy dance at least it is over!!!!

Don't waste your energy obsessing about the exam. Relax until you get your results. Congratulate yourself for having taken the test. Good luck.

Don't forget that the NCLEX people put questions in the exam that they're just trying out and that have no bearing on your pass or fail. Maybe all three of the autism questions were just trial questions. I know I had repeat questions on my NCLEX and just told myself that they must be trialing the questions and kept on going.
