Do not use college network

Do not sign up with this program if you arent sure you can do all of the learning on your own

i found this program just wasnt working for me and when i tried to cancel and get a partial refund they refused and said no refunds allowed

they essentially have stolen 7000 dollars from me at this point

As far as TCN is concerned, they have stolen nothing from you. They will say that they thoroughly explained their product and service to you and you willingly and knowledgeably signed their contract.

I used TCN and I'm not a fan but I agree with Caliotter. No one stole a thing from you. You signed a contract and they are well within their rights to expect you to hold up your end of the contract. It is fair, legal AND ethical.

It is too bad that many people do not get the lowdown on TCN before it is too late. I would hate to tell you how many times I have been taken for a ride because of my gullibility. That is why I have now learned to keep myself out of situations where someone can take advantage of me because I can't say no.

I agree with the above writers. TCN didn't steal your money. You like many others found out that the EC or ISU program take alot of motivation to complete. I am sorry you had to learn the hard way but it looks like your gonna have to pay and mark it down as a lesson learned.

actually all of you know it all superior perfect people not everyone can learn in this style and if you dont give it a try how in the hell do you know if a online program is for you so I gave it a shot I did make it through A and P and Micro but I do not like the program no one knows in 3 days if online learning is for them and guess what the BBB agrees and has taken a formal complaint against them and given me the name of a lawyer that I can contact as there apparrently have been many complaints I dont care if they want to keep the money for the modules but my test fees dont belong to them so yes they are stealing from me

they probably didn't steal 7 grand from you, but it might feel like it since they won't even give you a partial refund. I have a friend who works for them, so I do think their modules are great if you want to pay the money, but you can get them on Ebay used for a fraction of the cost! I love the way the modules are set up, so I will be searching for them on Ebay! On the other hand, you should not have signed on unless you knew what online learning or self guided learning is all about. Good luck to you getting your money back, hopefully they at least refund your exam fee money! Everyone here is just trying to help---don't take it personally.:redbeathe

Don't take it out on us, nobody here advised you to sign a contract with The College Network.

Thanks for the Moral Support everyone who didn't sign up with TCN and decided to give a swift kick to those of us who did! I was one of those who did sign on with TCN and later lived to regret it. And YES, TinkerBell1963 is out $7500. like she said, that is what I owe. The BBB is getting involved cause TCN represents themselves as affiliated with EC,Read their Website.

I personally did used TCN modules and stayed in the program LPN-RN with EC, Not cause I'm naive, but I personally refuse to go back to brick and mortar school. Nursing school was a true nightmare for everyone in my class. All of the instructors but one were reprimanded by my State BON, consequently they were fired. I could not go through that again, in my case, Nurses ate their young.

Let's remember that these boards serve as motivation and in my case a source of encouragement to keep reaching for my goal, to get my RN now and continue on to my BSN, MSN. Honesty doesn't help when your hurting.

Blessings to all and TinkerBell1963, I encourage you to keep reaching for your goals!

The best thing that those who signed on the dotted line can do is to succeed with the program. Get a return on your investment! Good luck to you, Avelinne.
