Do you have Malpractice Ins?

Just wondering if any psych nurses have malpractice insurance? Is this something I need to think about getting? I was told conflicting advice in nursing school and am not sure the best course of action.

    The VA said it's not required for me to carry my own.

    You should always carry your own. Never trust your employer, they are looking out for their own best interests.

    Yes I carried it when I was working. I don't care if my employer would have said not to carry it. It's for my protection, not theirs.

    Through NSO, it comes out to about $10/month. (What's that about - 2 fancy,schmancy coffee-house coffees???) Insurance that will be there for YOUR interests alone. What a bargain!
