For those of you that have been accepted or are CRNA'S what do you think of my chances. I am applying to 5 schools.
undergrad GPA 3.3/Science 3.3
Masters level pharm class with an A
GRE 620 quantatative/370 verbal/4.0 writing
1 year med/surg
1 year in a 4 bed ICU
1 year in a busy 25 bed CVICU with peds to Adults
CCRN
ACLS
PALS
ENPC
TNCC
Baloon Pump Certified
ECMO Experience
VAD/JARVIK Trained
CRRT Trained
Preceptor
On two Commitees

Well, your stats are definately good. Interview well and I don't see why you wouldn't be accepted.

I'm sure that many (including me) read your post and wish they were worried about such things. You have an excellent blend of experience and scores. As long as you talk a good game in the interview (practice in front of the mirror!) you'll be fantastic!

I think will have a very complete application. I am not sure on the schools that you are applying to though. I think some schools put more weight than others on what your numbers say opposed to what you have actually accomplished.
This was my concern. I am applying to 4 schools in the midwest and they are all very competitive. I appreciate the encouragement from everyone! It seems like a roller coaster ride waiting to find out!!

I am not even a nurse yet. I will be in the nursing program next fall. My goal is to be a CRNA but i know it is very competitive. I've been focused on one school for the CRNA program in the midwest. Should i expand that and look at several schools? Does anyone know about or go to SIUE?? Thanks guys
