Last night I took care of a pt, that I know is engaged to a friend I went to high school with, although she doesn't know me. He's been posting updates all day, and has tagged them at the hospital. Someone just commented and tagged me and said "Did nurse (my name) see her?" because she knows I work there. What am I allowed to say? She did not set restrictions on the release of her name at the hospital, so we can confirm that she is there if someone were to call.

I'd remove the tag and not talk about it.
That's what I was thinking. I just know then I'll start getting PM's.

If you get PMs, ignore them. No, you are not allowed to say that you have cared for a patient, and I can easily see getting fired over this, if handled inappropriately. Delete the tag, do not answer PMs, do not discuss it AT ALL WITH ANYONE.
Apparently, there is no way to untag yourself from a comment on a post....

You may need to use a desktop version. I've done it.
If your employer is tagged you want to remove it. If the links above don't work. Id consider contacting corporate compliance

ok, for the uninitiated.......what does it mean "she was tagged"?? Not a Facebook girl, LOL, but would like to know what this means :)
Hot links your name & profile to a post. The family member was posting and tagging /linking to the hospital location. A friend of the OP, said "did you see OP (hot linked tag to OP's Facebook profile) she works at xxx hospital" Facility pages are public and anyone (especially those on charge of the facility FB profile) can read even a private post if the facility is "tagged ".
