I test in 5 days too! Good luck. I suppose it depends on what type of questions you get, i'm sure it won't hurt to keep it in the back of your mind. :)

I didn't really feel that I used Maslow's but I absolutely used ABC's. There were absolutely times I would get an answer down to a blood pressure or pulse issue and a breathing issue. When it comes down to that it is almost always AIRWAY, AIRWAY, AIRWAY, AIRWAY. It almost became a mantra in nursing school. LOL. Good luck!

I used...always assess before implemt unless in distress & acute before chronic. That helped me

I used to think this was the case. But the more questions I do, the more I see ABC, and maslow doesn't always work. It totally depends on the type of question. I used to think that ABC was always the right answer, but it's not.

Thank you guys.

Like another poster stated; depends on the question...I had a Maslow question, but it tied into safe, effective care. I had more acute v. chronic, ABC type questions more than anything else.

Thank you for your reply

I just took nclex rn on july 8th and I didn't have one question where I could use abc to answer my questions.

Basically we have to critical think when answering the nclex questions.
