DID anyone try LEARNINGEXT.COM

HEY all did anyone try the learningext.com its suppose to be like the nclex but of course nothing is exactly like the nclex it helps to prepare you for the nclex

I did use this as my last course of study prior to taking nclex. I found it to be helpful in studying and found it to be worth the money. I decided to use it after speaking to a newly licensed LVN who told me it was the only material she purchased to study for the exam and had passed the first try.

Good luck!

I used this for NCLEX study guide. Passed on first try. Very easy to understand and worth the money.

my agency made me take learningext.com program for 1 month i think.

it helped. try it. but i also used lippincott and kaplan. the latter helped me most though. i think if not for these (and loads of divine intervention lol) i may have not passed nclex rn at first try. God bless.

I used learning text for review as well as Saunders alt questions. I liked it, but you do need to get past the typos in the review. I felt it gave me a good review and the price was right. The one thing I didn't like is it didn't give good rationales for wrong answers.

Overall, if you are short on cash I think it is a good purchase. I passed on the 20th with 75 questions using mainly these 2 to study.

I used learningext.com for about1.5 weeks-abandoned it about halfway through. I didn't like the outline format and I found many typos and a few inaccuracies (like saying hypo when it was hyper) which infuriated me-I felt like-how do I know if they are teaching me the correct info or not in any of this? I e-mailed them but never did get a response. My friend who signed up felt the same way, too-found one incorrect item and stopped using it. Agree about the fact that it doesn't address incorrect rationales on the practice question answers.

I passed at 75 questions. I would advocate using the most current Saunders book and cd-rom. You can choose to take an exam using all SATA format-great experience for the nclex-rn-you can see if you have a pattern of checking too many or too few.

I also used Kaplan book and cd-rom-good but not enough test questions.

My job paid for it for the new grads to use if they wanted.. so I signed up and I've just been doing the questions on it - havent read the reviews.

For those that used it - what were some of your scores on the pre-test and random quizzes??? I'm STILL hitting between 60-70% like i do with EVERY stupid quiz/test.

My school requires we purchase it and complete it -- it is actually worth 20% of one of my course grades.

I think the questions are decent (although some of the answers I think are wrong). However, there is no way I would read through some of those outlines -- they are over 100 pages!

I did it for a week right before testing when I was so burnt on Saunders that I wanted to cry, lol. It was worth the $50 imo. I only did the questions, not the review but I felt they were close to the wording on NCLEX. Good luck.
