Did anyone fail without having any math questions?

Just curious.....I've heard that the math calculation questions are usually supposed to be considered a lower level question, therefore, alot of people think they may have done well if they did not receive any math questions. So, I was just curious to know if anyone took the test and didn't get any math questions but failed?

i didnt have math questions when i took the test the first time and still failed....so it doesnt really matter...what i noticed during the test is that when i know that i am doing well with the questions, the select all that apply pops up....i dunno, it maybe just me....

i did not have a math q but failed.. my friend did have and passed..

;)

i got 1 calculation: i failed

i know some of friends who failed and they didn't even have a math calc question. i guess, it doesn't really matter...math problems don't determine your fate in passing the test.

but ah--i sure hope that i don't get one on my test. ;-)

i got two: pediatics calulations. mg/kg/day and a heparin drip question. i got them both correct. but dayam i hate math! i'm still waiting for my results.

my friend had 2 calculation and 5 med(endocrine) drugs...passed!!!

I remember having one drug calculation, I know for sure my answer was wrong coz I freaked out when I saw the numbers...so I just guessed the answer. It was after the exam that I was able to compute the answer(it took me so long during the exam to answer the math question that I was able to memorize the question for several days). I passed though.

I got 1 pedi calculation i got it wrong ( i checked the answer again when i got home) but i passed nclex

I had to calculate input and output 2 times on my test and passed.

You'll like this: I had two dosage calc questions at the very end of the test. By that time I had forgotten that there was a calculator that you could use on screen. So I did them by hand. I couldn't figure out why they were giving me math problems that didn't have nice round numbers when I had to figure them out by hand!

Doh! :)

I had about 4-5 math q's and 1 I&O.

the 1st try i dont have math calculations and lots of meds questions ==>wasnt fortunate, 2nd try 4 math calculations, less med questions==> still wasnt fortunate....sigh...lemme me see if my third one will be a lucky one:P winks****
