Yikes. Always amazing the ingenuity people have when it comes to destroying their own bodies.
High enough blood sugar can just EAT you from the inside out (figuratively speaking). There are going to be some ugly, painful, young deaths if this gains any traction.
Back when I taught a computer class I had a student who died right after he finished my part of the program. One leg, eyes glassy with cataracts, I would have guessed he was 55 or so to look at him. He was 34, Type 1 diabetic who had a history of very poor control, and eventually stroked out.

It is really sad that someone would destroy there body just to be thin. I'd love to be a size 4, but not at the point of risking my health...or life.
Thanks for bringing it to our attention so we can be more upto date. Never know who might read this and then pin point that as a patients problem.

I have just recently started to hear things about diabulimia, I am very interested in this. If anyone has any interesting info please share. I know the basic stuff, but am really interested if you have had any patients or experience with this. Thanks
