NASN offers the HANDS (Helping Administer to the Needs of the Student with Diabetes in the School Program) and it is offered across the country. It is team taught by a Nurse Certified Diabetes Educator and a school nurse. I took it last year and was very impressed: http://www.nasn.org/Default.aspx?tabid=411

This is the calendar: https://nasn.networkats.com/members_online/members/calendar_of_events.asp

All day sessions are scheduled today in Delaware and soon in the states of Washington, Arkansas and California. It will be offered as a precon session at the national conference in Chicago in June.
