Nurses New Nurse

Took nclex friday - it cut off at 75 questions. I felt good for a while - until today - now i cant stop crying - everyone who took it with me has their nursing license number now. As for me - nothing! I called the BON DIrectly - they said maybe check at end of the week. Oh well right. Guess I failed. Ever heard of that after 75 questions. I honeslty felt good about this and thought that i had gotten quite a number of them right. Guess I must have got all of them wrong. The girl at the BON said it could be becuase i was born in another country that the background might be taking longer than others. Whatever you know. This is the worst feeling I have ever felt.

Take a deep breath and don't panic! Wait until you get the news. Take the girl at the BON's advice - relax - besides fretting doesn't make things easier. Like another poster said on another thread - rent a funny movie, do a craft, and my personal favorite - go shopping! Relax and positive thoughts coming your way!

It's only been one and a half business days since you took the test. Relax. Do something to distract yourself and check again tomorrow.

The number of questions has no bearing on whether your passed or failed, so don't get stuck on that.

Hang in there and good luck. :)

I know this is an anxious time for you, but you will hear from them soon. Please let us know when you get that license in the mail! We want to cheer you on.

This totally sucks. I know you're going crazy. It totally sucks. Bear in mind, there wouldn't be any hold up if you failed. When you get your results doesn't have any bearing on pass or fail. If you cut off at 75, you're going to pass. Some on here say they've heard of people failing at 75, but look at all the posts. Everyone who cut off at 75 has passed. So will you. Hang tight.
