detox hydrotherapy ?

Has anyone heard of detox hydrotherapy, biocleanse, or aqua detox? The secretaries at work were telling me about it. You put your feet in this tub of water with this electric charger type thing in it. After about 30 minutes, the water turns brown. This is supposedly drawing out the toxins in your body. I have never heard of it, but I guess some local alternative therapy clinics are using it.

First of all, let me say that I've never heard of this and therefore I know absolutely nothing about it ... but I'm just thinking off the top of my head ...

Stick my feet (or any other body part, for that matter) into water in which there is some kind of electric charge???!!! Umm ... no thanks! :eek: :eek:

Sounds "too good to be true" to me. I wonder what the "science" behind it is....

I am wondering too. I did a google search, but of course I got the company that makes it and all of their client's testimonials. Im just curious, maybe the water would turn brown after 30 minutes even if somebody's feet werent in it?
