those darn germs!!!

Doesn't it figure- I've worked my hind end off this past week to accrue as much overtime as possible. And here I am two days from the end of the pay period with a fever, stuffy nose, ear ache and sore throat!! Can't eat, can't sleep- can't even swallow the coffee that makes me feel so much better! Grrrrr.

Well, the good news is that, since my employer doesn't pay sick days- I've already made up my hours that I'll miss today with this darn bug!

Excellent planning. You've worn down your resistance with all the overtime, and now are wearing down your excessive funds by paying the predictable price for having a lowered resistance.
