Feb 15, 20179 yr 570 Students Grades 3-530 Daily Meds65 PRN Meds4 Daily Tube Feedings2 Diabetic students Average 40-50 students daily Apparently, a legal specialists gave an in service (that I was not aware of) to the faculty and told them, "if a student asks to go to the nurse, you have to allow it"
Feb 16, 20179 yr A little less than 300. 7 daily meds (but one's been out for a while, and despite my request, has not had med sent in). And maybe 15 - 20 visits. I've had up to 30 which was an insane day for me.Edit: high school, charter, a lot of my visits are more mental health than physical health in all honesty
Feb 16, 20179 yr High School with a little less than 500. 1daily med, 4 T1 diabetics, 2 of which I see on a regular basis, 2 on an as needed basis. I see 15-20 kids per day but I document each and every phone call, fax and email. Why? Because I spend an inordinate amount of time calling multiple numbers people classrooms for kids parents etc. The follow up is time consuming but legitimately needs to be accounted for.I case manage 13 504 plans and the time spent on that....oye...I code most of them student follow up and make a note as to what I was doing.
