Daily kid count

Out of curiosity, how many kids, including your daily meds, do you see everyday? Also, what is your school's enrollment and what grade levels do you have?

my info:

Elementary school

grades: K-5

enrollment: 877

daily kid count, including meds: 55-60

daily meds: 20 (all but two are ADHD)

High school grades 9-12, approx 650 students.

I see 25-40 kids per day.

6 daily meds

7 T1D (I monitor 2 of them closely, the rest self manage, and only come to me if they are having a problem, which is pretty rare)

1 RN (me)

570 Students Grades 3-5

30 Daily Meds

65 PRN Meds

4 Daily Tube Feedings

2 Diabetic students

Average 40-50 students daily

Apparently, a legal specialists gave an in service (that I was not aware of) to the faculty and told them, "if a student asks to go to the nurse, you have to allow it"

A little less than 300. 7 daily meds (but one's been out for a while, and despite my request, has not had med sent in). And maybe 15 - 20 visits. I've had up to 30 which was an insane day for me.

Edit: high school, charter, a lot of my visits are more mental health than physical health in all honesty

High School with a little less than 500. 1daily med, 4 T1 diabetics, 2 of which I see on a regular basis, 2 on an as needed basis. I see 15-20 kids per day but I document each and every phone call, fax and email. Why? Because I spend an inordinate amount of time calling multiple numbers people classrooms for kids parents etc. The follow up is time consuming but legitimately needs to be accounted for.I case manage 13 504 plans and the time spent on that....oye...I code most of them student follow up and make a note as to what I was doing.
