Still no call I'm very nervous and I'm already having a trerrible day. My name starts with a V so hopefully they just took lunch. But soon I'm going to call and play dumb like WellThatsOdd.

I called and played stupid. She said they were doing the calls, but she didn't have my name (heart attack) but that she would ask the others. She called me back 5 minutes later. I'm surprised I got through.

Yay I got in!! I was blowing up all three numbers from about 11:10-11:15. Literally nonstop. Finally someone answered and she said I got accepted! Last name starts with C but she said she was waiting to call Til later because I don't have a local number.

I just called and said "I'm calling to see if I got accepted" and she asked my name and confirmed my student ID

Congratulations to those who already received their call today. Just some friendly advice that someone in another thread gave...if you know calls are going out, it's best to avoid calling in because it ties up someone who could be calling one of your future classmates. BTW, whether you received your call or not (yet)...please consider coming to the SNA meeting today @ 3pm, room K-101, West Charleston campus. It's potluck, and there will be a special guest speaker. I think you all might enjoy it. Student Nurses Association is for those in the RN, LPN, and CNA programs. Pre-nursing students can also join. It's a great group of people! I hope to see you all there! PS - you can have your phone on & sit near the back so you can exit easily. It's a student-run organization, so kinda casual.

Currently the fb pages for any of our nursing classes are student-run, so each new class takes it upon themselves to create one. Some faculty members frown on & even discourage fb, but not all of them. So, just be careful & use discretion with what you post online. Even private fb groups aren't always private. 😉 Just some friendly advice. I hope you find this information useful. 😊 It is given with intentions of peace and love. ✌🏻️❤️

Congratulations to everyone who has received a call ...this whole waiting game was too much for me and I called!! I was chosen as an alternate with 26 points! (I submitted my app late due to the app orientation). I'm ok with that. I was told there is only 3 people total on the alternate list and that all 11 alternates from last semester got in! This definetly gives me hope! See you on Nov. 6th!
