CSN Fall 2010

I applied for Spring 2010 and was not accepted. My score was 24 but they said they only accepted two students with a score of 24 by lottery and there were 10 applicants with 24 so i just was not one of the lucky ones. ANyways, I finished my microbiology so now my score is 29. I just dropped off my application. Anyone else applying to Fall 2010 and what score/points do you have on the application? Thanks!

I also applied for Spring 2010, but only had 15 pts., as I will still in BIO224 and BIO251. I have just reapplied for Fall 2010 with 30 pts. Keeping my fingers crossed!:)

For you two that are applying for Fall 2010.. I take it you guys passed your TEAS exam, is there any advice you can give me for the science portion? I have taken it twice already and plan to take it the end of this month and for some reason can not pass the science part. Any advice would be appreciated. thanx~

I just purchased the TEAS exam study guide at the bookstore and studied that. There was some tricky questions on the TEAS, with the Geology, physics and chemistry type questions that caught me off guard. Study those really good in the study guide. Good luck!

cool..i am going to apply for spring 2011.. what courses did you complete before even trying to apply ..thanks rodney

you have to complete all of the prerequisites, like 189, 223, math, english, psych. etc. and pass the teas before you can even apply. you can take the other classes like 224, 251, history etc. later, but that is less points for admission, if you do not have them completed before you apply. since it is so competitive, the more classes you have completed prior to applying, the better, but it doesn't hurt to try. good luck. :)

I also applied for the Fall 2010 semester; had 30 points total. Looking forward to getting started...

I also applied with 30 points. I'm pretty sure we all have a good shot :yeah:

Awesome, when will you find out?/

I heard that they will start calling the last week in April. But, I guess sometimes they call during the third week. This cannot happen soon enough.

haha.well good luck of course. do you have any work or volunteer work to help with your application?? I have heard that can carry some weight..

I have work experience for the one extra point. You should look into it, as you only need 6 months.

Yeah, I think it "looks good" seeing that one has already been in the enviroment. I am going to look into volunteering... Thanks for the info. if you wanna drop me a note at rodmoser_rmoser at yahoo.com. thanks rodney
