Countdown Time

I think it's time to start this... how many more days for you?

After today... I have 14 days with the kids, plus one staff day.

Students out on Monday, June 8. I'm out June 9th. Snow days added on 4 school days to the end of the year.

    Yes, it seems about the same amount of time off for everyone. We've had nothing but rain for the past three weeks so it hasn't felt much like summer. We start back Aug 11 giving us 8 total weeks off-not the 3 months the general public seems to think we get. I bet in Aug it will be super hot and stuffy. I wish we didn't have to go back until after Labor Day. Many of our schools still don't have air conditioning. We've heard a lot of speculation they are eventually wanting us to go all year around. I've heard this for years but this school year they made an actual sample calendar for it so I'd say it's getting closer! Not sure how I feel about that...
