Continuing Education/ Help please

Hi all :) I need your help. I am sure this is addressed some where on the board but it keeps coming up blank when I search, so I thought I would just ask. I need to get my Continuing Education Credits done asap so I can renew my license. I know there are places you have to pay but I barely have enough money to renew the license (I have been out of work) I have done some subbing but it has been few and far between. I am an LVN in Texas. I welcome any great sites or information. Thank you all so very much.

Medscape online, offers some free CE courses, you have to join (it's free) but each one is only .5 to 1 hour. The CDC used to have free online courses too.

I believe CEfast either has some free ones or they offer a trial membership.

I have never heard of that one, but I will look into it. Thanks so much for the suggestion. :)

Medline and its free

Since you are in Texas try Texas Health Steps, they have free CNE.....I had to pay for my ethics and jurisprudence on another site though to get those. I would print the certificates and keep for your records.
