Our braden scales are in our clinicomp computer charting of the nursing assessment. It gives an explanation of how to score each area, hence we do not need to have it memorized.
Hi lpnFlorida!
Thanks for the info. My DON was looking for a hardcopy of a Braden competency. We don't have a software program where it is embedded.
If you have a hardcopy that you can forward, that would be super!
Thanks again!!

Hi Suni,
I see that you posted a request for the Braden Scale Competency online last year. I am in need of that same document/form in hardcopy or electronic version.
Did you ever receive a Braden Competency from your post?? If you did, do you still have it, and would you be willing to share?
Dear sirI,
Thank you for your help. I have been through the Braden Scale website, and I can construct a competency form from some of the information there. I was just wondering if there was a formal Braden competency that someone knew of.
Thanks again for the assist!
You are welcome. I cannot seem to find a "free" competency form.
Good luck with your pursuits.

Do you mean a test to test how they fill out a form? Do people do that?
The Braden Assessment form that we have is just about 6 or so questions. You look at the expainations and fill in the answer.
