COLLIN COLLEGE ADN PROGRAM Spring 2022

Hey guys I didn't see any thread for the Spring 2022 semester, so I thought I should start one ?

Don’t say that. I’m sure you have a good score !

Okay, how many people are above 19 points

Still nothing guys? Maybe there was a lot more applicants than expected. I know nursing programs usually expect lower numbers for Spring semester admissions, so maybe this years applicants were higher than usual.

Still nothing ?

There’s always a lot of applicants - this is especially a competitive and popular program. They said by the end of this week is their goal so still on track. All we can do is just be on the look out!  It’s normal in most programs for it to take 4-6ish weeks after the application period ends.

No, I 100% agree. I was just trying to see where everyone was at and when I should be on the lookout for a rejection or acceptance letter. I know they said it should be done the week of the 15th at latest, on the Collin College website. So I am just anticipating the emails now. Thank you!

I’ve been checking my email several times a day since last week, so I totally get the anticipation. Really hoping to hear sooner rather than later,  but at the same time I’m sure they had tons of applicants and are likely shorter staffed due to COVID. I was hoping to hear back today but I have a feeling it’ll be closer to Friday.

YES! I felt insane and obsessive doing it. I work at a pediatric clinic and I check like every hour between patients. My boss has been asking me too because everyone is just so anxious to know. I am looking forward to see who gets in. I'm excited regardless if I do or not, because I can live through you guys and try again another semester. Sending you tons of luck! ?

Rooting for you! This is my second time applying or nursing school, first time applying at Collin. I haven’t heard back from the other school I applied to either, and the deadline was a week before Collins. I’m sure there’s just a lot going on right now. Very best of luck, I know it’s stressful.

What are some other programs y’all applied to? I just moved here from California and I am still looking into other nursing programs as a back up plan ? I am going to apply to TWU for their Fall 2023 program if I do not get into Collins.

Hello-

Where on the website does it show Oct 15th. I have been hearing around October 30th. The last information session stated they received about 350 applications and was surprised that it was less than the 500-600 they seen in the previous few cohorts. Good luck everyone.

I've heard great things about TWU's nursing program. Great idea to apply there. Maybe also take a look at Dallas College El Centro location. Their nursing program is great too, but the only difference is they take the HESI A2 exam rather than the TEAS. S
