CNA wear

Published

i started my CNA class about 2 weeks ago , so do you have some sort of jacket to wear as a CNA if it gets a little cold wear you work at or if you need a little bit more pocket space and if they do give jackets what would they give a male and a female would it be the same?

They make long-sleeved scrub tops. But usually the nursing home is like 85 degrees and you're constantly moving, so you don't need one.

A few of my classmates wore a long sleeved white shirt under their scrub top, but changed as soon as they got a chance since the nursing home was kept so hot.

if you're going to be a cna, you'll be sweating buckets the whole time, you wont need a jacket

A lot of the LPN's will wear scrub jackets, but I've never had the need for it b/c I'm constantly moving.

prob i wont need it if i work in a 'LTC cause its like 90 degrees in the residents room at one point in the winter, talking more in a hospital round. I seen scrub jackets, but thats about it.

If it's really cold out I'll wear a long-sleeved tee under my scrub top, and then I can take it off later if I get too hot.

i dont realli need a jacket cause i am cold, i need a jacket couse i need somewhere to put my stethoscope so i dont need to where it around my neck

if you are a male CNA and you are given a jacket to wear(optional) would you get somethnng like this Jewel Neck Warm-Up yy in White from Medisave or would you get something like this Men's Zip Front Jacket in White from Medisave something could let me know be great

I either wear a long sleeved shirt under my scrub top or wear a zip up hoodie. Some hospitals only allow you to wear the long sleeved scrub tops over the regular one. It just depends.

I'm going to parrot others by saying, I doubt you'll be cold. If it's about extra pockets, there are scrub vests available that would probably work.

i can say for sure i will never get cold prob not even in a hospital but I need extra big pockets to hold the stethoscope
