CHOC interview

Is CHOC done contacting applicants and no longer interviewing? I haven't heard anything from them...

I applied for CICU and got a msg that they had enough for that position. So I applied to the Med/Surg floor but my status hasn't changed yet.

I just got an email from CHOC saying I wasn't selected. I applied to med/surg 5th floor. They said there were over 200 applicants for med/surg 4th and 5th floor and only accepted 4 applicants. Bummer...

For those who were able to get an interview or were offered a position, would you mind sharing some insight for people like me who have been searching for over 6 months? Thanks in advance and congrats to those who were offered a position!

OMG I just received the same email and I had tears in my eyes...I really want a job but I'm going to hold on and be strong

I'm really hoping that things will seriously turn around... people keep saying things are going to be better for us new grads this year.... but it's so hard to stay positive after so many rejections! You're definitely not alone.

What I thought was kind of funny was I didn't just get ONE email... they sent me THREE of the same email!

They keep telling me the same thing and keep asking me if I have a job yet. I think if one more person asks me that I might scream!!!

Hi, anyone has any info on CHOC interviews? I have no idea what it will be like. anything helps!

^ do you have an interview for the new grad program that starts in August? I didn't know they were starting to call people yet...obviously I haven' heard anything.. What unit are you interviewing for?

I applied for a Med/Surg position on May 14th and my application is still being reviewed. I'm really hoping to at least get an interview because it'll be good practice. Still keeping my fingers crossed! The good thing is I'm single and don't have kids or any commitments in CA, so I can go anywhere for a job. Best of luck to everyone else who applied!!!
