***Chemistry - Fall 2005***

Who else is taking Chemisrty this semester? I thought maybe we can check in with each other, and help each other out.

If there is enough of us maybe we can even get a sticky.

I am taking Health Science Chemistry 1.

That is a great idea to have a Chemistry thread. I took it last semester, so I will check back and hopefully be of some use to the club. :)

Thank you, that would be great:)

Good luck you guys! Don't worry, chemistry is a lot of work but it's not that bad. There is a lot of math, so brush up on your algebra skills and you will be fine. One more thing: don't get behind - go to class and listen to the lecture, and then do your homework right away while the information is fresh in your mind. The labs can be fun - enjoy!

I am starting my pre-reqs this fall and will be taking Beginning Chem along with Biology, Psychology, and English.... going to be a busy semester.

Anyway, I'll be interested in seeing what I can do for "back and forth" commenting where necessary.

Hi-

I am taking my second Chemistry....General Chem II ( I think its called, its the one required for BSN's). I am not looking forward to it. The first one was hard, and I hear this one is a lot harder! Good luck to everyone taking a Chem course!

Hi everyone! I am taking CHEM 1405-Introduction to Chemistry this fall. I am waiting to hear about my packet for the nursing program but I wanted to take some classes this coming up semester and chemistry is one of them. :) I am also taking Major World Religion online and SPAN 1411 through telecourse.

I'm done with general chem 1 and 2. I was planning to go to organcic chem (for med school) ...but I'm doing it later.

Hi, I'll be taking a Chm 01 class in October. I'm scared, to say the least.

I'm taking Principles of Chemistry this fall semester.

I received my Chemistry textbook in the mail yesterday (school starts 8/22). I was flipping through it and almost cried. LOL! :scrying:

I said to my husband, "This has to be the most boring class ever!".

I'm actually looking forward to Psychology, Anatomy and Physiology. I find them very interesting. I'm even looking forward to my required Algebra class and learning the math skills that I never had. But, this Chemistry book looked painfully boring, I can't imagine how I'll make it through!?!

One day at a time, I guess...

I had my first class today. My professor seems like he is going to be great. He is around 70 I would say and just as sweet as can be. He brought all kinds of props, I mean all sorts of stuff to class today. He is really breaking everything down into very simple terms. I think that I am going to survive chemistry after all:D :D

By the way can we please get a sticky for this thread?
