Just started Chamberlain University online RN to BSN. Oh my gosh! LOTS of papers. HOLY GUCAMOLE!!:typing I feel like I'm writing papers every day. Hopefully, it will be worth it. I should be done by July. How's everyone else doing?

Specializes in EMS, ED, Trauma, CEN, CPEN, TCRN.

It is a paper-heavy endeavor, but I enjoy writing. (Go figure. LOL.) Which class are you taking now? I'm doing Health Assessment (NR294). I'm also guesstimating I'll graduate in July! :)

Congratulations, Lisa! It is so exciting to see my fellow Excelsior friends excelling and moving forward! I went with Liberty University and in December I will have only 2 classes left to my BSN. That will make my graduation date March 2010. I was hoping for sooner, but I guess I can survive until May.

The Liberty program has one 2 page paper due each week and 1 discussion board post with replies to 2 other students each week. How does Chamberlain match up? They were actually my first choice, but a little cost prohibitive for the VA funding!

Good luck in Everything you do!!! :D

I'm taking Soc 350 and NSg 351. I have 3 discussion posts per week and a 3 page paper each week for each class. Sometimes, I don't have that 3 page paper for NS 351. Each has a research paper due after 6 weeks.

Specializes in FNP.

I am also taking nsg transitions and health assessments. It is a lot of papers. I know Kent State is starting a online BSN program but, I think it is more classes than Chamberlain.

Also an Excelsior Grad 2005.

I am researching online RN to BSN programs and Liberty University is high on my list. I would love a bit more info from someone who is a current student-cost, amission requirments, how long to complete the program, time requirements (will I be able to work while in school?), is this a completely online program? I know thats alot of questions-I just submitted a request for information to LU but am very interested in any info that you can share. Best of luck to you!!!!

I'm nearing the final week of NR294, Health Assessment. As I sit here in my pajamas working on my final presentation for class, sippin' coffee and watching my husband snuggle/nap with our two Pugs, I'm thinking it's going really well! Ahhhh, how I love distance learning. :D

Thanks, I have really struggled with this decision. I work at Universty of Md and found applying to that school a real pain. THey wanted math and chemistry. I have been a nurse for 23 years and have done well, but I feel that this degree thing is always hangin over my head.

It's going great for me. I'm finishing up my 1st two classes in the next week and I'm sitting at home with my rugrats(my 4 kids) running around screaming and jumping. This is the BEST way to go to school. No more paying for parking, paying for daycare, sitting all day in class. It's great.

Anyone starting NR 351 Oct. 26th with Chamberlain online RN to BSN?
