2014 CCP Nursing Program

Can I just say that I am getting anxious for September to come! I am going to start reading tomorrow till next week since I will be free the whole week. Oh gosh! I am so nervous!!

Guys, when you bought your sneakers are they all white?? I am having a hard time finding one. I have one in mind but it has little traces of silver on the side

I finally purchased my books... do you guys know if we have to bring ALL of them everyday? Those books are soooo heavy!!!

I actually bought a pair of all white Nike Airmax's from Kicks. They were like 75 bucks.

I had the same question in reference to the books we would need to carry on a regular basis. Did you get any of the recommended books? I am thinking a rolling backpack may be the answer.

Guys, I know this is a stupid question but when you guys are reading the books are you guys taking notes. I'll be honest, I am a bit overwhelmed by how much we have to read. I am having a hard time reading the book while staying awake... LOLz

I decided not to take notes because I would feel like everything is important so I've just been reading. I have to take cat naps just to get through the fundamental book

I actually purchased a Kindle and I am getting the recommended books on my Kindle so it is less to carry. I priced everything out on Amazon and it all came up to about 350... i figured with everything we already have to carry, a Kindle might be an easier way. I just started reading, and let's just say that it's already a bit overwhelming... I'm extremely nervous. Positive thoughts... positive thoughts! lol

I had a question about everyone's uniforms. Is the CCP Department of Nursing patch on your shirts, pants and jacket? On my uniforms it is only on the jacket and the pants have this tiny CCP patch and the shirts are just embroidered CCP. I wanted to see if this is what everyone else has as well.

No I did not take notes. I am reading in spurts so that I don't fall asleep. It does not always work. I have also put my earphones on with music while reading that works a little better for me.
