Can anyone name some ROP programs in California?

Published

I have been searching and searching. But I can't find a complete group of them. I want to take my LVN and i'm looking from a reasonable program with low cost. If you also have graduated from an rop, please share your experience.

not sure if these are in the centra valley, but i found it by going to yahoo and typing in California Central Valley Regional Occupational Centers

http://www.valleyrop.net/

This website it not what I was looking for. I want a list of regional occupational programs that offer the LVN program for low cost!

All ROP programs in CA are low cost, so just separate out the ROP programs from this list of LVN programs in CA and you should be set.

Thank you, anyways!

Santee Health Occupations is a ROP program. They offer a LVN course.

Santee.... the total cost is 2,500 yes, thats very low... you need to have your CNA and health care essentials class (they offer it there and I am currently enrolled), then take the TEAS test in Feb 09..... Program starts in Fall 09......

I agree the response was rude considering no one has to look up information. If they are voluntarily attempting to help at all they should not be dismissed so rudely.

As far as a direct list of all ROP programs that have accredited LVN courses in california go to the board website:

http://www.bvnpt.ca.gov/education/schools/vn_schools.shtml

While it lists all programs in California, you can scroll through and see which one's are LVN's. As far as cost you'll either have to google the information or contact the school directly.

Some programs are much more expensive then others, but you will also want to look up the passrates as going through nursing school and then not passing boards will not do you any good.

Good luck in your search.

The original post was made in 2007, and the original poster has not posted anything in many months, so it is safe to assume she's had her question answered many moons ago (regardless of the seemingly ungrateful tone). :)

Old thread alert.

lol yes, i realized this after i replied ;) oops...oh well :p
