call pay

I work in Northern California and we get $6.50/hr to carry the pager and time and a half with a 3 hour minimum for call backs (double time after 12 hours).

$3/hr., time and a half plus that 3 dollars an hour, shift differential, and weekend differential (if applicable), when called in.

West Tennessee here: $15 for each 8 hours of call :angryfire

In San Francisco call is 30% to 50% of base pay depending on which hospital you work at. Call Back is OT.

Here in mid Florida it is $3.00/hr. Time & a half with 2 hr minimum for call back.

It was pretty much the same when I worked in So Fl.

here in central virginia, i get $2/hr to be on-call; $40/hr for the first 4 hours called in and time-and-a-half every hour thereafter, regardless of weekend/night/evening/day.

I live in Colorado, work in New Mexico. (I live near the border) Anyway, it is $2.00 to carry the pager. It is time and a half ONLY if you are over 40 hrs for the week which is bs if you ask me. The place I worked before (in Colorado) gave time and a half regardless. Oh, and this is a STATE facility! Cheap, cheap!

$6.75 and hour with a 2 hour min call back. So Calif

Missouri: $2:50/hr, $10:00 travel pay if called in, time and a half once you are called in, differential for night/weekend. 2 hour min. We are no where near Calif. it looks like!

We also get 2.00/hr to be on call, and even if we get called in for a 30 minute case they have to pay us like we worked 3 hours(time and a half). Once, I got called in for a bipolar hip. I came in to the OR to find out that anesthesia had cancelled the surgery(wacky ekg). I shut my phone off when I'm in the car. They had called me in so they still had to pay me....easy $$$$$$!!!!

$2.00/hr to carry the pager. Time and 1/2 pay, 1/2 hour paid travel time (regardless if you only live 1 block away) and shift differential depending on what shift it is you are called in on. Wisconsin

I work in a private hosp in Australia, if I do on call for fri night, sat and sun until mon morning we get paid $300 just to be on call. So, thats not too bad, it makes up for not being able to go out, drink etc.
