Hi nurses! I am an RN in the Philippines, graduated in 2009. I have also experienced being denied by BRN to take the NCLEX RN. I am about to start going to school to complete BRN's requirements for IENs. Once I have completed it and passed the NCLEX RN (hopefully), will they honor my BSN degree from Philippines? Thanks!

The only way to find out is to apply.

Generally, based on recent guidelines, it will depend on whatever credentials you might have. By credentials I mean, what is your accomplished certification? Are you registered from your country of origin? Do you have any experience with patient care? Recent or otherwise? What I am trying to say is that, it is actually an individualized assessment from an Evaluator. And from that assessment, they will be able to identify whether you need to accomplish more school credits, on the job trainings, etc.
It's CA BRN. Yes, I am a registered nurse in the Philippines. I have been working as LVN for almost 5 yrs now. Im trying to find people who have the same case as mine and have passed the NCLEX RN after completing the courses stated in the letter from BRN. I just wanna know if we are gonna be considered as having BSN degree or whatsoever.
Btw, thanks for all your inputs. 😀
I have LVN license with IV certification.
