Brookhaven Fall 2012

Anyone here applying to Brookhaven's nursing program next month for their Fall 2012 admission?

I am..I need to take the HESI one more time in hopes of getting a higher score. The only support class that I do not have complete is End of Life so I hope with a higher HESI score and a good interview score I will have enough points to get in!

My husband was satisfied with his answers. The first question about something about nursing/skills/ethics? He couldn't really remember. But his next question was "when was the last time you used logic to handle a problem". He is glad its over!

Mmax, why do you think you did horrible?

I completely blanked in the middle of my first answer and then blurted out that I was super nervous. And could barely finish my answer. It was awful. :-(

our group did pretty well. I just made sure I spoke clearly and confidently. My head got a little fuzzy towards the end of both of my answers, but I think I got out the important stuff out in the beginning so I hope it will be enough!

I hope we hear something tomorrow!! Hearing that other people have application points like 32 and 35 though make me feel like I might not make it :(

Glad everyone is done. @ Briterz- that's why I didn't log in cuz I was waiting for everyone to get over with it. I don't wanna rude or hurt nobody. @ Brookhaven- I guess I got the same question. It was about abilities, skills and knowledge of a nurse. @ maxfield- don't worry you will get it. A guy in my group was quiet most of the time and dressed in polo and jeans. I pray we all get in!

I guess we will hear on Monday, that's what the panel said.

Thanks @queen! It was crazy and then the Dean was like please don't pass out right now I don't want to have to do CPR on anyone right now.

Wow mmaxfield you must have been really nervous! The dean sat in on your interview? That is even more nerve wracking! lol

So he wasnt in for y'alls? And sat directly in front of him. Yeah and then when I messed up I couldn't shake it.

lol! that's funny. I think they were mainly just looking to see if you had confidence in your answers, you were focused, and you could think on your feet. there is no telling how they grade it beyond that, but I know that homework and video games will keep me sane this weekend!

I didn't have the dean in my interview.
