Brookhaven Fall 2012

Anyone here applying to Brookhaven's nursing program next month for their Fall 2012 admission?

I am..I need to take the HESI one more time in hopes of getting a higher score. The only support class that I do not have complete is End of Life so I hope with a higher HESI score and a good interview score I will have enough points to get in!

@queen that's great! I'm glad it went well for you! I'm trying not to let my nerves get the best of me. I kind of feel nauseous! Lol!

That was nerve wracking!! Once you get in there though and sit down it's not bad at all!

You pull a number (1 through 5) before you go in and the number you get matches the seat (they are numbered too) you sit in. The 2 questions you are asked correspond to that number too.

My best advice is to just relax and take a moment and think about the question you are asked before you answer. All of the instructors who are on the panel are very nice and easy to talk to. Good luck everyone!!

what kind of questions did they ask all of you?

I believe they ask each group the same questions

I believe they ask each group the same questions

were they basic job interview questions, critical thinking, scenario? Could you list a couple we could be expecting, or to at least gauge the caliber of thought we have to put into thinking about the answers?

There are alot of personal experience questions That's all I am going to say. Please don't take this as me being "witchy" but I don't want to say much because everyone doing this interview process is basically my competition ya know? I think it is unfair to me and others if I tell people what questions were asked. It would give you a leg up for the interview (and anyone else who reads it) and I really don't see that as fair.

I haven't done mine yet but I know Id be the same way @briterz! :-)

But tomorrow after interviews are over I want to know what everyone was asked lol! :-)

Oh for sure..I don't mind sharing after tomorrow.

I really hope you all don't think I am evil for feeling this way. I am a nice person lol I swear!

@briterz I didn't think you were evil. I think you are doing what everyone else would do! Ultimately it is a competition until we get in. Then it becomes a team situation because I know I want to get a study group together!

I would have shared, but that's just me I guess. I don't blame you though. Good luck to everyone tomorrow!
