Hi everyone! I applied for 2020 fall evening nursing program and I also waiting for answer from nursing department! I received email to not email nursing advisor but we suppose to have last week zoom meeting! I hope everyone is safe out and good luck!

Hi, I have her emails too about zoom meeting but she actually never set it up and I still didn't get answers. Good luck !

In my opinion, I think it's too late to apply for fall of 2020. The deadline for the fall application was May 1st. So at this time ,Spring of 2021will be the best choice for you. But every rule has an exception. Maybe you should try to reach out to the nursing department with this question. As far as I know , none of us on this platform has really the final answer. The nursing department may make an exception for you. I hope this help.

I think you should call and verify. I applied on May 25th and what I mean by that is I took the SLE on May 20th and I handed all my paperwork, transcripts, HS diploma , personal statement, and all that stuff by May 25th and I double checked that it was for Fall 2020 start. I have a copy of my application as well that states its for Fall 2020. Call today and verify for yourself!

You might be right but they also probably extended the dates. I didn't apply until May 25th and I am being considered for the upcoming Fall 2020 start date. I will know something by the 19th!

Hi everyone, I thought deadline for fall 2020 was may 1st. @nursevannadid u take chem 121 and math 104 at bmcc....I'm transfer and I was not allowed to apply into to nursing program till I have those classes done.

I applied in February and if they still took applications on May 25th when the deadline was May 1st then we may not hear back from them for a while. I would say end of June? Or did they say June 19th?

I don't think the zoom meetings are supposed to be scheduled w us but within the department so we would not know whether they were scheduled or not. I am sure they have been having plenty of zoom meetings.

What I am most concerned about though is whether CUNY will even be open in the Fall. Seems the New York dept of education is not re-opening the schools in the fall (meaning pre-k-12). So I really feel in limbo here...

I also applied for fall 2020 . Got the same emails as everyone else , schedule zooms etc etc . Did the advisor tell someone the 19th ? Be great to have an actual date !
I registered for micro as my back up for fall should I not get a spot and the professor over a month ago emailed to say it’s completely online but live lectures . If public school doesn’t go back it will be a struggle - 3 kids at home full time makes it a bit difficult to study .
