We currently have sterilized blanket rolls that we can unroll and roll back up intra-operatively for total knee surgeries. Our hospital's sterile supply department is trying to go linen free, which would eliminate these. What are other institutions using to aid the surgeon in flexing/extending the knee with bumps during surgery? Any suggestions, websites, etc would be extremely helpful!

There is a sterile leg attachment that you can use. Instead of sterile how about you use 3/4 drapes. We use them often when are using c arms etc. The cost of the drapes are probably cheaper then SPD making sterile sheets once you figure in the cost of doing linen and then the time and wraps to process them. Also blankets should not be used in the OR because can give off lint.

Depending on the surgeon we use an alvarado leg holder (both reusable and disposable), a sandbag on a stick, or a total knee stabilizer. If they want a sterile bump, the tech makes on by wrapping towels or spare drapes/gowns in coban.
