BCIT September 2020 Intake

Is anybody applying to the Nursing program at BCIT?

Please discuss what type of marks you will be applying with and any other experience you'll be including with your application

Also, how is the Casper examination? Whats that process like?

Hi there, has anyone heard back from the wait list for sept 2020 nursing ??

Our deadlines all got pushed back until Nov 7 so I think you will hear closer to then instead. The April intake which is now Sept was full. Maybe shoot them an email to clarify things but I would assume all waitlists also got shifted a cohort. ?

I declined my offer yesterday so hopefully someone on the wait list will be getting some good news soon! ? good luck!!

Hello Everyone,

I'm interested in applying to BCIT for Sept. 2021 intake (was going to apply for April 2021 but they closed applications for that due to virus) and I'm worried about my chances of getting in. By the end of this year, I'll have graduated with a BSc. I do not have much volunteering or work experience though.

cGPA for academic foundations = 3.49

math = 87%

chem 11 = 87%

Do you think I'll be able to get in?

Hi guys!

Has anyone received a wait list offer for the September 2020 intake being in the top 10?

Thanks.

Hi there has anyone from the top 10 waitlist for September 2020 been updated for a seat?

Hi guys! I'm planning on applying for the next intake.

I have a BSc. degree from UBC, I have B in A&P, and A's in everything but Psychology I have a C (69%)

I am just wondering if I should retake psych now (Sept-Dec'20) to improve my GPA. I am really conflicted. Would a C look bad in my application? Or is it a minor thing that they wouldn't really care too much for.

YOur suggestion would be greatly valued. Thanks!

Myself and a couple of people got in from the top 10 waitlist around a week ago. Hang in there, your call will come soon too !

I would try and apply with what you have right now. Your degree would most likely be considered greatly, despite of your C in Psych. Also, any health-care/leadership experience is a helpful addition to your application.
Wish you all the luck !

Hi guys,

I just got a call from bcit yesterday. The advisor was confirming if I was still interested on being on the waitlist for Jan and told me the intake was currently full. Just incase anyone was looking for an update. :)

Hi!

I got a call late on Friday saying I was top of the waitlist despite accidentally being told my application closed! I was never even told I made top 15! Very happy to get that call.

Hi !
I received a call from them on Monday because I emailed on Friday about the error we received in myComm. They also asked if I was still interested in staying on Jan waitlist and told me I’m in the top 10 ! Fingers crossed we get that second call :)

I know a couple of people emailed admissions to ask if top 10 are guaranteed a seat for the next intake, did anyone get a reply back?
