I’m still waiting for any kind of response... rejection or acceptance !! Just need to hear something from someone! Ugh!

Is anyone else having issues with their criminal record check? They are asking me to get BCIT to fill out a form asking permission and then I have to sign it giving permission it’s really odd

Same thing happened to me, I emailed them about it and they told I'd have to BCIT and verify my identity there and they'd send one in on my behalf, or to just keep trying online ?

Hey! so I stopped trying to request for a couple days and then tried again probably after 4-5 days and it worked just yesterday!

Have your guys criminal record checks been received by BCIT yet? I submitted mine on March 1st and I emailed BCIT a few days ago and they said they have not received it yet. Is this normal?

I submitted mine too and haven't heard anything back from them? I did get an email stating they received my immunization review form and immunization records and will call me for an appointment in July

Just to clarify, if we don't have some of the vaccinations, they will provide them to us right? We don't need to go and get them elsewhere?

I believe so, when we go for our appointment with the clinic to review our immunization records!

Since our cohort will now be starting in January 2021 due to COVID-19, do you guys think it is possible that BCIT may delay terms for a second time if cases go up again? I've been thinking about the possibility and it is pretty frustrating, especially because all other nursing schools are still able to continue on with their terms. In fact, most health authorities like Vancouver Coastal Health have actually approved clinical placements. I'm really hoping our intake start date doesn't get delayed for a second time.
