I'm considering the '09 internship also! Maybe we'll meet someday! When do you graduate and which specialty are you looking into?

hi britt!. maybe we will meet. i don't graduate until may '09. i just like getting everything together ahead of time. you're probably graduating in december, right? i bet you are excited! i want to go into an icu, preferably sicu, micu, or neuro icu(in that order).

Yes I do graduate in December! I tried to get a head start on things too but the recruiter told me to apply a little later. I began applying right before this Fall semester and they had GN Internships listed for September. I had to wait until the January applications opened up. I'm probably going to fly down in a few weeks. Have you heard anything about if it's very competitive or not? I know that plenty of students are graduating this December so the applicant pool will be pretty large!

Thanks!!!

I would love any information on Baylor internships as well. I have my heart set on ICU and I graduate in May 09. I hope somebody posts some details of the internship. :loveya:

i have heard that they always have slots open. in which specialties, i don't know. i talked to a recruiter from baylor at a job fair at my school and she was really nice. i'm also looking at medical city, methodist, and parkland. baylor is my first choice though. i know that they offer great flexible schedules. they pay the gn's $21/hr and they do relocation assistance. be sure to let us other prospects know how everything is going when you get the internship.
