Bath time

I am about to go do battle with Lady Diana. My rescue dog needs a bath and she absolutely hates water. Wish me luck.

Can you take her swimming? Sometimes dogs will do that if it’s not done to them, if you know what I mean, especially with hot weather coming in. A kiddie pool will do— just put on a bathing suit and sit in it without comment and let her decide about joining you after a few times when she sees nothing dreadful happens. Failing that, how about some of those damp towel baths we use with demented elders who are frightened by showers?
