Baptist Versant Program 2014

I applied as well. Still waiting to hear back. A few of my friends have already got the call with an offer earlier this week... I'm very nervous!

they called me about interviewing for ED! Im so nervous it ridiculous...does that mean i got rejected for the other departments i interviewed for?!

Hi everyone, does anyone knows when does the applications for Versant program at Baptist for August will be available. My story is as follows I am a mom to be and also a new grad RN, I apply for the March opening at baptist and got to the first interview with the recruiter. Because of my due date After the interview I told them I was prego because if I started the program now I am showing and also I would have to stop because of my due date. The recruiter was really nice to me and told me to reapply for the August program. I was calm till yesterday when I received an email saying that I was not selected for the Versant program which I more or less knew for the March. I don't know if this is standard or what but I am feeling a little discourage to Pply again for the August internship. I do not know if anyone has had this experience before and can tell me something about it. I'll really appreciate any comment from anyone. I know now I can't apply in any hospital they won't hire me I am 26 was pregnant and showing so my light at the end of the tunnel was the August Versant baptist program and now I am feeling so devastated. Once again thanks for your input

Hospitals invest alot of money in these program, if they know that u will not able to commit 100% and have a long term working relationship with then they will look at u as bad investment. I suggest u apply for August program, but u r not guaranteed an interview....u r lucky u called for an interview most ppl dont get that opportunity....DONT GIVE UP!! U R A RN!! Wait until u r STABLE to go on interviews!

I'm so happy I found this thread! I am currently looking into applying to the Versant residency program at Baptist for the August 2015 cohort. I know the application does not open up until May but I was wondering if anyone who has applied can tell me what we need to apply in terms of letters of reference (including how many) and any essays we might have to write or other requirements needed to apply. I can't find this anywhere on their website and I wanted to get a head start in preparing to apply.
