Attention all NYU Fall 2010 nursing program hopefuls!

Hey there,

I know there are quite a few of you on here waiting to hear back from NYU for the Fall 2010 program start. I'm anxiously awaiting myself, but it looks like we won't hear back until end of April/beginning of May, at the earliest. Just wanted to start a thread for us... if and when you hear of acceptance, will you please post so others can gauge when we might hear back?

    Really? I was reading on other forums that the earliest that past cohorts have heard back was early April. I'm definitely anxiously waiting too and I would love to hear back as soon as possible because I graduate from my undergrad in May and I want to be sure of where I'm going. Did you call NYU to find out when we would hear back? Or did they announce it elsewhere that we wouldn't be hearing back until late April/early May? I just assumed that if we applied for early consideration aka March 1st that we would definitely hear back early...

    hi flee33. i actually spoke with a credible source at NYU and she was the one who told me late april/early may, at the earliest and that they would continue to offer acceptance through july. however you are right in that there is conflicting information out there. i don't really understand how the process works. i think some people will probably hear back starting early april, but others might not hear back until much later. i just think they are so overwhelmed with apps, that it's probably difficult to streamline. i will let you know if i hear anything else.

    i got my acceptance letter in the mail yesterday and it was postmarked April 9th... so i'm sure you'll be hearing soon if you haven't already.. good luck :)
