Applying for Gordon Nursing Program Spring 2010

Hello All,

I am applying for Spring 2010 admission at Gordon. When is the application deadline? I do not need to take any classes at Gordon so I applied for Spring 2010 admission. I have not received an acceptance letter and that has been two months ago. When I check the website, it says that all of my information has been received, but my transcripts have not been evaluated or at least no grades have been posted for me as of yet. I need to apply to the program and take the TEAS, but I know that time is running out. I am beginning to get very frustrated! Can anyone help me or give me a name of someone that can help speed this process along? Thanks so much!:wink2:

Phrozenone,

You have been MIA. I know that Gordon is keeping you busy. Have you received your clinical assignment yet? You have to be our official inside source for us outsiders to let us know how the program is going and what to expect. Have you heard anything about how the selection process is going for Spring 2010. We are sweating it out trying to figure out what is going on. Good luck this semester.

Hi guys,

For all of you waiting to hear back about admission in the Gordon Nursing program, I spoke to an advisor and she said that she hadn't heard anything about the numbers (how many they will accept or if there are 300 applicants) for Spring 2010 and rumors tend to go around during admissions time. I hope this eases your minds a little.

Thanks GaMommy, I feel a little more at ease now:wink2:

I am glad I could make you feel a little better. Maybe now the waiting won't be so tedious! LOL! Yeah right!

I am also in the waiting game for Spring 2010 acceptance & it is driving me crazy! I am so nervous! Does anyone know what a competitive GPA/TEAS score would be for the program?

I know how you feel. No one has really been able to give us a definitive answer because Gordon bases their admission on a point system. I think if you are lacking one area you can make up for it with other areas whether it be gpa, TEAS, completion of core, health care experience. If someone can get a breakdown of the points system that would be marvelous!
