Applying to GCC and BHSN Fall 2014

I sent my applications to BHSN and GCC. I was wondering who else is in the same stressing boat with me. Anyone?

How were your grades and teas?! I only have a 3.4 nursing gpa, 78.7 on teas and I got an A in ap1. I know how competitive it is and it's making me worry!

I also applied to GCC and BHSN. I sent in my application to BHSN in October and my status still says application in review. So it is time to play the waiting game!!! Lol!!!

Well I got my letter and I did not get in. I'm pretty bummed about it. I still have a chance with GCC. Getting into nursing school is definitely very hard. I have completed all classes that need to be completed. I have been taking classes towards my BSN in the meantime. My GPA is still a 3.8, my TEAS was not so great though I got a 70. So I'm being positive and hoping for the best. Good luck to everyone that got in and that are still waiting to hear. ?

I'm so sorry to hear that I'm still waiting and my GPA is 3.70 my Teas 69.4 so I don't know, judging by your scores I have no hopes. Well, we still have GCC right? if I don't get in this time I'll try St Vincent or St Joseph. ugh I wish you luck!

Thanks. I was really bummed getting that letter. Everyone I talked to said I had a good chance with my GPA, but BHSN must use Teas scores or maybe they had a lot of people with 4.0's. The other thing is I have no classes but nursing classes to take. I am going to keep at it. My time will come. I am hoping to get into GCC. We are supposed to hear mid April they said. I'm going to remain positive and hope for the best. Best of luck to you!! ?

Thanks! When did you send your application? This is my second try for GCC, last year I was waitlisted. Since then, I retook A & P I and took micro both with As. My last year's teas was 66. There is my problem I think.
